SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE
This service is a traditional worship service, incorporating hymns, prayer, scripture, and sermon as well as a children's sermon. Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month and the sacrament of Christian Baptism is frequently observed.
Evening Prayer Wednesdays 7:00 p.m.
Choir Rehearsel Wednesdays 7:30 p.m.
In May Rev. Smith will finish a series based on Bishop N.T. Wright's book, After You Believe, exploring Christian character.
On Pentecost, we will take a look at the inward working of the Holy Spirit. On may 26 we will celebrate the Confirmation os six youth and our Elgin District Superintendent, the Rev. Oscar Carrasco will be our preacher for this special day.
On June 2 there will be a special day of music, "One great Hour of Singing," which will feature extra music and no sermon that day. June 9 will be Pastor Brian's last Sunday. And the preaching for the remaining weeks of June will come from our certified Lay Servants.
